Last year beekeepers and other supporters of the »Day of Planting Honey Plants« tasked themselves with a mission to plant nectar sources for honeybees and other pollinators. With this project already planted over 200.000 honey plants were planted in Slovenia. Every supporter did its part to improve conditions for pollinators.

We will repeat last year’s mission in 2023, as it is important to inform the public about impacts of planting nectar sources. We can do a lot with our own hands to improve condition which grant pollinators sufficient nutrition at crucial stages of development to grow and continue pollinating plants.

Planting nectar sources is an investment into the future of humanity and life on Earth as we know it, as production of about 70 % of all food depends on pollination by pollinators. It is with this fact in mind that we invite you to join us on our mission on the »Day of Planting Honey Plants« and plant nectar sources.

Our goal is that Slovenia and the whole world participate in planting honey plants on 25. March 2023.
 
We will regularly inform you about all stages of the project. We believe, that we can work together to improve lives of pollinators and consequently our lives with planting honey plants.
